I also never wear a mask so I can stay healthy.
Maybe before the sale, but after? That would prompt some serious legal action.
What sign at this business did you see Karen?
You tell them they are no longer allowed because you are revoking their permission to be there as a business invitee. If she returns, she is trespassing and can be arrested. The manager was smart.
ALso, we have no idea how the customer was acting in the store. Consider the behavior afterwards.... Who is being irrational and who seems the most sane? How often does the news cover a story when a bad check writer or rowdy customer is asked to not return to a business? People get kicked out of businesses all the time, and sometimes with protective and no trespassing orders. What kind of a person calls the news to broadcast they were kicked out of a business? A normal person would be embarrassed.
People cough for lots of reasons: perfume, bad hippie feminist body odor, asthma, allergies, etc. Isn’t it just as unconcionable and ill mannered to yell at disabled people as it is to be sick and cough on people?
Most likely, this is going to be a boone for the business and their sales will increase innumerably.
If the customer’s mask keeps here safe why should anyone else wear a mask too?
Until the leftist nutbags decide to make an example of this tire shop and burn it to the ground.
Similarly, my sister — who is a rabid Trump supporter and is named Karen — rarely wears a mask.
These scenarios are very different: (A) a law requiring you to wear a mask, and (B) a boss or customer asking employees to wear masks.
While (A) can be abuse of power, (B) should be perfectly acceptable.
Don’t want to wear a mask? Go work somewhere else then.
Customer asks you to wear a mask because you’re coughing? Put the mask on. What’s the big deal?
“It was NOT out of order for the customer to bring it up”
so now I gotta ask
if the Karen’s mask kept her safe why does the cashier need one too?
My response to jack-wagons who demand I wear a training burqua is no.
Go hide under your bed you freaking hypochondriac.
Bingo. People are worried. We don't need a law dictating to us to wear masks, but someone with a job (such as cashier) working closely with the public should choose to wear one, anyway. I've had to meet with many people, and we all wear masks around each other. Sometimes we joke about the masks, but no one is refusing to wear one.
Ha ha ha
Yer right, she’s from PC

Stop being polite, diplomatic and kind....../s
I guess this masked nitwit didn’t trust her own mask. Pushy fool.
I didn't cheer anyone on. I just don't understand today's workforce. Part of a cashier's job is to keep customers happy. This cashier was coughing. She could've put a mask on, just to make the customer happy. Instead, her boss is complaining that a customer hurt the cashier's feelings. Ridiculous.
Ask people who don’t want to bake cakes for gay weddings how that’s worked out...
If you get the city/county/state permission slip (license) to make a living providing a good or service you’d better read the fine print in the WHOLE muni code.
Regards,
Plenty of reporting now on masks not only being useless but of there even increasing the spread of this over hyped China virus.
“The cashier could have just taken the darn mask, thanked the paying customer, apologized for being without a mask during her sinus cold (you don’t know that), and that would have been the end of it.”
Karen, you forgot the part about kissing all the China virus mask nazis a$$es.
