Why Sidney Powell gets the Galileo treatment

Observers of human history might have to go back all the way to Galileo to find a ruling class as determined to cancel someone as much as today’s is to cancel Sidney Powell.

Observers of human history might have to go back all the way to Galileo to find a ruling class as determined to cancel someone as much as today’s is to cancel Sidney Powell in response to her single-minded devotion to bringing the truth of the full scale of the 2020 election fraud to light.

Galileo broke the news/discovery that the earth wasn’t the center of the universe, and in fact revolved around the sun, and that just didn’t comport with what the ruling class, including church authorities, were prepared or willing to accept. Galileo rocked their world -- probably deeply threatening their hold of authority over the masses if they were exposed as so fundamentally wrong -- so their solution wasn’t to deal with the truth but to put Galileo under house arrest and demand that he renounce his discovery.

The American ruling class of 2020 is bizarrely opposed to allocating any oxygen to what Sidney Powell has discovered and is alleging about Dominion Voting Systems (and others), about vote-shifting algorithms and partial decimal vote counts, and about vote manipulation showing up throughout the country. Even Rudy Giuliani, the President’s attorney, and Mark Meadows, the President’s Chief of Staff, seem hellbent on publicly keeping their distance from Powell -- and on keeping President Trump from getting too close to or aligned with Powell

So much truth in this article that it cannot, and must not be ignored. Arise fellow citizens and demand the truth be exposed. Let’s save this country for our children, grandchildren, and the God loving and freedom loving people from around the world.

Powell’s problem is that she’s never been able to explain how a vote-rigging computer can alter the outcome of an election when a hand count of paper ballots will easily expose the fraud.

Suppose I vote in a precinct where 600 people voted for Trump and 400 voted for Biden. The software “rigs” the result so that it shows 600 votes for Biden and 400 for Trump ... or it deletes 400 Trump votes so that Biden wins by a 400-200 margin.

How does any of this work if there were 1,000 PAPER ballots used in this election that still exist after they are run through the scanner?

I don’t doubt that machines/computers/software like Dominion have been used to rig elections. I’m also pretty sure that this was done primarily in elections done entirely by machine where NO paper ballots were used — which is not the case in most of the U.S.

Sidney Powell is falling out of favor among many of Trump’s supporters because she seems to be basing many of her allegations on a complete misunderstanding of how the process works.

Most of the time “hand recounts” really aren’t what they sound like or imply. They are just feeding ballots through the machines again and getting tallies, then adding tallies together. In small precincts where actual hand recounts are reasonable to perform in short time-frames you might see it done as you would expect. In cases where there are hundreds of thousands of ballots to count, which include numerous down-ballot races and other local items, well, it should take hundreds of workers several days to weeks to actually perform a proper hand recount.

Every grocery store has a scanner.

The American public is being scammed in this vote fraud mess. There should be at least two different companies scanning the ballots. If the data does not match...no vote count by hand.

Since when does the truth depend on whether one is or is not “fallen out of favor?”

The Trump campaign has never asked for a hand recount in these contested states. There’s a reason for that. It’s because this was never a MACHINE problem ... it’s a BALLOT problem. The Democrats simply went out and got millions of phony ballots to rig the election. A hand recount of fraudulent ballots is going to give the same result.

Powell is apparently the last one to figure out that they didn’t NEED to use the machines to rig the election.

Agreed, there are a lot of fraudulent ballots. There is also proof of incorrect or fraudulent machine software updates, etc...

I'll go a bit further. The writer breathlessly says

Even Rudy Giuliani, the President’s attorney, and Mark Meadows, the President’s Chief of Staff, seem hellbent on publicly keeping their distance from Powell -- and on keeping President Trump from getting too close to or aligned with Powell.

You are really saying Trump is weak, and being manipulated by Giuliani and Meadows. Huh?

Now, we all agree that Trump isn't an idiot (though his AG picks aren't a strong suit). We also acknowledge that, having worked in real estate in NewYork, he probably can pick out the charlatans from across the room.

Along comes Powell. Ok...she clearly has chutzpah and isn't afraid. But any attorney realizes part of a high-profile case is the public dimension, and she utterly failed in delivering that dimension. Her word-choice and interviews let the word Kracken to be turned into a club to be used to bludgeon herself by the enemies.

Maybe she's a good attorney - so is Dershowitz. But he flew on the Lolita express and is a rabid pro-abortion and anti-2nd Amendment guy...surely SOMEWHERE in the US we can find SOMEONE better than him. Same with Powell.

When that announcement came out that Powell wasn't part of Trump's official team, I was heartened. My guess is he saw what was happening and some other things behind the scenes, and cut his losses. Maybe she's competent, but he realized she was a liability.

I fully recognize the powers that are stacked against Trump and that state legislatures have failed the voters. If Joe is seated, it won't be for lack of effort. But I suspect part of the post-mortem will reveal Powell to not be as good as many believe.

That’s true. The Lord uses imperfect human beings.

Thank you for pointing this out. I’m sure, with your posting history, that you are the very paragon of virtue.

I’ve been watching.

A big red flag was raised in my mind about Powell when she was doing her Tucker Carlson interview and insisted she wouldn’t share her evidence with him because she wasn’t going to try the case “in the court of public opinion.”

That was a disingenuous, phony stance to take ... because swaying public opinion was the only reason she was doing a stupid TV interview.

But you won’t arise and my guess is most here won’t either. Nor will Powell prevail as PDJT himself appears to be keeping his distance from her. PDJT has the ability to contact anyone he wants anywhere in the world. He’s keeping Powell at a distance for a calculated reason.

The Cardinals of the church in Rome wanted Galileo executed.

Source. please. Latin original is fine. Since Galileo ended up spending time at a Cardinal friend's palace and nothing else...

Never read it, though I'm familiar with the Enron and Arthur Anderson saga. Frankly, Worldcom was a greater story and an outright fraud, but that's for a different thread.

Again, I don't doubt that she knows the difference between a tort and a tart. But the point remains, that the writer argues that St Sidney is being kept from Trump. That is utterly laughable. If Trump wants to see someone, he will undoubtedly get an audience with that person, like the head of NK.

It is more likely, that the reverse has happened...she's seemingly fallen out of favor with Trump, a guy who usually can call them from a mile away.

To wit: Bannon was once part of Trump's close advisors. He was cut loose, and many of us thought WTF. The truth was, that while Bannon was a great strategist for the 2016 election, he wasn't a great tactician in an Administration. He's an idea guy, and not cut out for D.C. There were also some other behind-the-scene things most of us didn't see (but I trust those privy to such things) and, in the end, we trusted Trump's judgment.

We are seeing a dearth of fighters. One by one, court filings and suits don't get to see the light of day. Legislatures have failed the voters. Yet, Powell is one of the few people out there, publicly fighting the PR fight (which, as our FRiend noted, is sort of logically inconsistent). I understand the fan base she has amassed. But I still believe Hendrix and all of his bands were better than Zeppelin even though Plant et al sold 4-5x more albums.
