We owe Covid-19 a debt of gratitude for eliminating all other causes of death.

232,342 new cases

Wonder how many of those "new" cases are false positives?

Elon Musk got tested four times in one day, two positive, two negative.

IMHO, you should test positive on two consecutive days to be considered positive.

IMHO, you should test positive on two consecutive days to be considered positive.

The problem with false positives is running the sample through too many RT-PCR amplification cycles. The USA is running 35-40 cycles when 25 cycles would identify over 98% of actual infections. A person who tests positive but is asymptomatic should have the option of being retested with just 25 amplification cycles. The EUA the tests are now authorized under does not allow this.

Uh-oh. A slight dip in daily “cases”. Cue a massive round of hysteria about the mutant strains and put everything breathing under house arrest for another month.

We would be way down in daily cases if things weren’t getting so bad in California.
