You ain’t getting anything. You are being taxed to give back to yourself. This is also national debt being added to. No one is paying anything right now for it. The government generates no wealth so it can only take from others, and it will be taking that $600 back from you. Count on it.

You and your wife worked hard for that money and made responible choices and paid lots of taxes over the years. Don’t feel guilty about it.
What irks me are the takers who make bad life choices, end up on gov’t services and they got the same amount as you Cuban Leaf. Talk about unfair.
I won't EVER get mad at money given back to the People -- but it's not even a fraction of what it should be. The real outrage is the largest distribution of wealth in U.S. history...to the oligarchs and big business.

sorry, I guess I am sitting in a minority position...my business is down 45% from last year through no faulty of my own. I have been majorly affected by this Covid bullcrap and I see tons of the “haves- corporations, lobbyists, etc” getting a ton of money thrown at them and the little guy who is just trying to get through, pay their taxes and try to work has to try to plug through while governors and mayors say no. Meanwhile the little guy gets $600 tossed at them. It is an insult!
Always liked Rand, may not have always agreed with some of his positions or arguments, but I like Rand. You go dude!

$600 won’t pay for the new tires on my 4X4. Oh, and a good time with a hooker costs more and you can’t go to a bar and run up a tab for this. $600 won’t buy next years fishing bait. Sheesh. I might also say “there is only two things that smell like fish. One of them is fish”.
