Is MOZILLA blocking access to entering comments on Free Republic threads?

This has happened to me twice. Once last night then again this morning.

What I get when I try to type in the comment box is a html page with the title of:

"jar:file///C:Program%20files/Moz."

Keyboard alpha numeric quits working, and mouse wheel will only increase or decrease window size it will no longer scroll.

The remainder of the "jibberish" on the html page concludes with:

"content--security policy"

Is this something I'm doing wrong or am I actually getting kicked out of the comment box by the browser? Has anyone on FR experienced this seeming anomaly? Sorry for taking up bandwidth, I've never liked posting selfies. Tried calling our computer guy, he has had his voicemail on since yesterday. Odd that it's letting me construct and enter this posting.

Something is wrong on your end. You will need to log into everything again but https://malwaretips.com/blogs/reset-firefox-settings/ will very likely fix it.

Switched to Edge a while ago as it seems to work well and the others have caused periodic issues. All the browser send data somewhere these days no matter how hard you try to stop it.

Could you have picked up a piece of malware? That’s my usual cause of such. I run Malwarebytes;

Oh and just do the stuff related to firefox.

You dont need malwarebytes all though it is a good program to have. Eats malware for breakfast and the free edition is the one you want if at all.
