Whoopi Goldberg is defending Tom Cruise after leaked audio of the star chastising “Mission: Impossible” crew members violating COVID protocol went viral.
“You know, some people don’t understand why he would get so angry,” Goldberg said on Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” adding, “I get it.”

I’m with an earlier FR poster who said, ‘nothing in Hollywood is real’, meaning this ‘leaked video’ was not accidentally leaked at all. Look how successful it has worked to advertise Tom’s next film! Everybody’s talking about it!

Cruise was right if it was real, and it was good acting if it was a PR stunt.
He's working a movie with hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of jobs on the line. This is under Covid conditions. Our opinions of the Covid rules that businesses have to follow are irrelevant. Not following those rules can get business in legal trouble and fined or sued.
