Because Florida let it burn through earlier this summer so they have developed some form of immunity. California is getting hit hard now because they had locked down the state during the first wave and they were really slow to open it up this summer so they are paying for it right now.

Deaths - Only 6% are due to CoVid alone (per the CDC's report of a couple of months ago).
The Hospitals have a financial interest to classify any deaths as being due to CoVid - and thus they will tend to do so.
And yet ... the average age of someone who died from CoVid is no different from the average age of someone who died from anything else. Odd, if CoVid is such a killer.

Cases - counted by a super sensitive test that flags any hint of a lingering dead virus in someone's system - as a positive case.

And the regular flu cases - have virtually gone to zero. Here in the height of Flu season.

Yes, it is all malarkey. All of it. All of it reported breathlessly by a legion of lying dogfaced pony soldiers. C'mon man.

The plots of the 'Excess Deaths' did not show up on my computer (perhaps a problem with the link, or perhaps a problem with my computer). But I've seen them before.
How many of these "Excess Deaths" are due to depression, suicides, undiagnosed (or untreated) cancers, heart, or other previously treatable ailments? Collateral damage due to the insane shutdowns.

And by the way, I'm not advocating doing nothing.
Of course - wash your hands a lot, and if you are coughing/hacking - stay home.
Take preventative treatments/vitamins. HCQ/Zinc - if you can get it. Or Quercitin/Zinc (which is easy to get). Ivermectin is apparently the latest vunder drug. But again, not so easy to get in the US (at least not in California). Be careful out there, but don't shut down your lives.

The price is terrible at the link I gave you to Amazon. Looks like lots of vendors are out or are not selling there since I checked a few days ago. I just ordered three tubes of Ivermectin paste for $7.95 each (the price it was last I looked) and so far it appears that the order went through.
