Well, I suppose he has matured a lot in twenty years.
Supposedly, he is a born-again Christian and has changed since his wild days.
I didn’t know he represented Jewell.

We have already established that we are in agreement regarding prepping. What are your thoughts on the principle of demonstrating honor and competence in one’s ‘prime gig’ before presuming that one’s advice in other areas is worthy of such adulation?
~~~~~~~~
My thoughts are you want to convert good advice about prepping TODAY into an opportunity to flog Lin Wood over something else.
I have always lived in hurricane country and we are always prepped for power outages. It’s a way of life.
Again, they closed to the public, so I suspect the only people that in the legislators and employees in the building. Not best, republican electors are the public. They had no special right to be there beyond anybody else.
Well, that may be, however—According to what the lawyer said, the state law requires the electors to report to a certain area in that building to vote.
And the lawyer presented a certification allowing their entry. The Democrat Electors were admitted. And the police person stated that a meeting was being conducted, and one of the people the lawyer asked to speak to was supposedly in the meeting and could not be interrupted.
Notably, this Governor was the only one reported to have tried to prevent the Republican Electors from voting as they are obligated to do, given that the court cases are still pending and election is still contested.
Also in case the lights go out in ice storms and for those with electric ranges,... I mentioned alternative methods for fires for cooking. There are also alternatives for making bread. Bread can be fried in a skillet with a little practice. It can also be baked in a dutch oven. [Little caution here for anyone who doesn't already know. Don't use charcoal fires or wood fires indoors. Carbon monoxide kills.]
*****************************************************************************
For heat we have a big fireplace with an insert that can keep the temp over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. And we have wood from 20 trees cured and ready to go -enough for several winters. We also have a couple of Sterno stoves. A generator that can run frig/freezer, air conditioner, heaters, tvs etc.
For cooking we have several options. A smaller fireplace in the Dining/kitchen area. Sterno stoves and cans of Sterno, rocket stove and plenty of twigs, Coleman 2 burner stove, and a BBQ/charcoal grill, and an outdoor fire pit.
Still working on getting the generator hooked up to the well as a standby generator, instead of a portable temporary option. We could haul water from the creek, or a swimming pool if we had to(we have the appropriate filter system)-but that's a pain.
So this was “the plan”? Apparently. It consisted of:
1. Appoint Deep State traitors to the highest positions of power in the land (Wray, Sessions, Esper, Barr, etc.)
2. Dither for 4 years while our side was arrested, indicted, harassed, and prosecuted - while the real criminals and traitors went free.
3. Allow the election to be stolen and the Republic to fall to traitors and the Chinese, and just hope that Judas Roberts and our robbed tyrants take a case.
