Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

Ignore the histrionic subtitle of the 2017 edition, it is not "China's master plan to destroy the USA", but rather, a brilliant explication by two Chinese colonels of the then-new concept of "Total Dimensional Warfare", to which I prefer to refer as "comprehensive warfare" and is, regardless of what one calls it, the real 5th Generation Warfare that so many glory-seeking would-be William S. Linds have attempted, incorrectly, to coin.
The current election crisis is not about Biden, or the Democrats, it's not even about the Constitution. It is actually about defeating the world's dominant military and rendering it hors de combat without firing a shot. And that, you see, is why I am confident that there is absolutely no way that President Trump ever even considered relying upon the state legislatures, or the courts, to ensure that he remains Commander-in-Chief for the next four years or more, for one single moment.
We should probably keep in mind that the fact a war has been waged with non-military means to date does not mean that it will remain that way indefinitely.

AHA! The Chief then pointed out that the event fell into the category of “Early in-person voting BEFORE THE DATE it was allowed to begin.
Later ChinaBiden attorney got caught trying to assert the WEC “Guidance” was above the law.
It appears the danger was understated.

There was also quite a shutdown of the rabid Alinskyite Justice Karofsky - she demanded that Trump attorney identify one evidence of fraud and he explained that the voter id law was established to prevent fraud and that the bypassing of it was in and of itself defacto evidence of fraud. She was left speechless.

Perhaps the real reason was congress over time wouldn’t appropriate enough funding to keep all that operating. And perhaps they weren’t strategic and essential anymore because defense upgrades in different areas changed the need for big bases on US soil. Which is a SWAG there on my part.

I think he is a private investigator who has cultivated contacts with and gained the trust of the good guys.
He was a frequent guest on Doug Hagmann and Field McConnell’s shows and has been making the round on others, most notably Able Danger.
He speaks as if he follows Q and gets tips from contacts in Q circles.
