I was wondering what happened with the forensic examination of the 22 Michigan Dominion computers because I have not seen anything. Then I was reading an article in the Detroit "Free" Press and found that the results are under a judicial protective order. But the same article which tries to do a hit job on the cybersecurity company says that the company is please with the results. "That imaging took place Sunday morning and was conducted by a team from Allied Security Operations Group, a cybersecurity firm whose representatives have put forward inaccurate and flawed testimony and analyses in support of lawsuits brought by the Trump campaign and its allies.
On Sunday morning, Trump attorney Jenna Ellis told Fox News that "our team" was conducting the examination of the machines in Antrim County. The results should "tell us a lot" about the election equipment, Ellis said.
Matthew DePerno, Bailey's Portage attorney, told "The Steve Gruber Show" Monday that he is not working for the Trump campaign, but he is "happy to cooperate" with the campaign.
DePerno, who has not returned phone calls from the Free Press, said Monday he did not yet know the results of the examination, but the team from ASOG "were happy" about the results and "seemed excited."
In authorizing the inspection of the tabulators, Elsenheimer issued a protective order "restricting use, distribution or manipulation of the forensic images and/or other information gleaned" without first getting his approval. The judge included the protective order after county attorneys told him the examination of the tabulators would violate their licensing agreement with Dominion, which is not a party to the case and has not responded to questions from the Free Press."

I would post a link to the full article but apparently it can't be posted on FreeRepublic.
One would think if they are under protective order the results are suspicious?
Dominion is a tool of the dems.
Election machines and software should be Open Source.
Not surprisingly Dominion objected to release of any information because they have proprietary rights in the equipment. But you know if the results helped the left they would be all over the media. Leaks are a common practice for them even by the head of the FBI James Comey.
My brain got a little discombobulated after reading that.
Examination is still under investigation. That has NOT stopped. The SOS & AG were not in the courtroom when the judges verdict was given. The State has now joined the case and no matter the outcome today, the State will just appeal to a different circuit and get the result they want. STILL FIGHTING!
Steve Bannon was talking about this examination of Dominion machines in MI on his Monday War Room show....he said results would take 48 hours.....he has not mentioned it since then
Ya, but “the cybersecurity company says that the company is please with the results”
Let’s wait for the “Patriot Act” national security redactions. They’ll be unclassified in the year 2036.

No. This is standing operating procedure for evidence that involves intellectual property covered by a contract. A parallel example is that aircraft manufacturers hold all the information about the certification of the airplanes by the FAA -- the reason is to prevent ne'er-do-wells from using the Freedom of Information Act to gain proprietary information.
When the results of the tests are presented in Court, then they may become viewable, in whole or in part, by the public. That's up to the judge, based on the requests of the parties to the lawsuit(s).

Is it possible to write an algorithm that would run once then delete itself leaving no evidence? Seems like that would be the best way to cover one’s tracks.
Security Operations Group, headquartered in Beijing. Code all good!
Sure, but usually there are side effects left over that can be used to infer what happened.
People rarely get something done as perfectly as they intend. Especially with code that isn't peer reviewed because sharing around code that enables a crime wouldn't be done for obvious reasons.
And should operate from read only media like CD-ROM or DVD
Elsenheimer issued a protective order “restricting use, distribution or manipulation of the forensic images and/or other information gleaned”...
Unless there is more to the order than that, nothing would seem to prevent the examiners from characterizing their findings/interpretations, so long as they do not distribute “images” (i.e., digital copies of hard-drives, etc.) that reveal Dominion’s proprietary software. So, “what’s the holdup?” is an important question.

Depends on the type of system. More efficient way is to have machines sitting around unattended for a month where somebody can get 30 seconds of alone time with a usb device
