HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A woman is behind bars after Huntsville police said she fired more than a dozen shots at her husband Thursday morning and failed to hit him.
Inez Fuqua, 38, is charged with second-degree assault, shooting into an occupied vehicle and receiving stolen property for the incident that happened at the Hyatt Place Huntsville on Governors West.
Police said Fuqua ambushed her husband as he returned to the hotel Thursday morning. They said the two are still married but were not living together.
As the victim pulled in, police said a car pulled up and Fuqua jumped out, shooting into the car. Police said she fired 14 shots, but her husband only had minor injuries from shrapnel.
But Fuqua’s husband had a gun of his own and fired two shots back, hitting Fuqua once, police said. He was then able to drive about a quarter of a mile to the Westin Huntsville hotel, which is where police found him.

Sadly no.
I was 1 in ‘76.
How does she get by with $45k bail?
14 counts of attempted murder, leaving the scene, destroying evidence (threw the gun away), receiving stolen property, property destruction (she did hit the other car), and whatever charge the wounds he had might bring.
I ate lunch across the street from the Hyatt last week. This THE upscale development in Huntsville.
ahe should be jailed...12 shots and she didnt hit him once ???
Inez is an old fashioned name. R&B singer Inez Fox and her brother Charlie had a big hit record “Mockingbird” in 1963.
After my ex divorced me, and it wasn’t because either of us cheated on the other, I had a few policies for myself.
1. Don’t date women who weren’t already legally divorced or had not been divorced for at least one year. Didn’t want to be a victim of a man with anger issues.
2. Don’t date women with children at home. They need the full attention of their mothers. I also was not going to put myself in a situation where I could be accused of sequel abuse.
3. They had to be financially independent.
4. They had to be a Christian.
At least this Hyatt isn’t like the Bates Motel where “you can check in, but you can’t check out, alive”.
Another DACA child?
I can’t unsee “Ignatz”, either!
Eeeeeeek!
Lol!

And let us not forget Harvey Fuqua of the Moonglows

I never took High School spanish, so I was unaware. My attitude in High School, and today, is “Why should I learn Spanish? This is the United States of America.”
That’s funny. When my wife offered to teach French at a homeschool co-op, a number of the other mothers asked what was the use of French? French and Spanish are great and important languages. Knowing or even being familiar with a Romance language (including Latin!) helps you understand English better. I get more use out of the smattering of French and the Latin I learned than out of my Honors Chemistry class. All three were worth taking because the things are good to know in and of themselves. A high school is not a vocational school.
As a child I spoke Tuscan Italian and French then English. Took Latin in school. Wonderful to hsve languages.
