Insane Drone Video Reveals Huge Hammerhead Shark Circling Clueless Swimmer in Florida

Shark eventually swam away leaving swimmer unharmed, McIntosh said

Everyone knows sharks fill the water off Florida’s coast and many choose to get in the water anyway.

What you might not expect to find though is a 10-foot long hammerhead shark circling an unsuspecting swimmer.

A drone video taken by Jason McIntosh on Nov. 15 in Miami Beach, Florida shows just that. If you were already afraid of going into the ocean you really won’t want to get in after watching this video.

The terrifying video captured the giant creature circling in shallow water just below a man that is clueless about what’s happening below him.

McIntosh who said he had no way to warn the swimmer told Jam Press, “I’ve seen hammerheads out there in the shoreline before. But my eyes lit up when I saw the guy floating backwards swimming with the shark starting to circle him.”

According to McIntosh, the shark swam off eventually and the swimmer was unharmed.

Who’s ready to take a dip?

Hammerheads are actually sort of harmless to humans. Now if it was a hungry bull shark or tiger shark, this guy would be getting fitted for prostheses right about now.

Cool...guy gives the thumbs-up to the drone overhead while he’s a couple feet away from becoming dinner.

looked like this video was going to spiral out of control at one point...but the shark failed to nail him.

That’s common with a hammer head...looks like a real nailing threat at first, but turns out to be acrylic

Amazing vision on these creatures. Imagine trying to blend the images from those two outboard eyeballs into a coherent single image in the brain.

This would also be a good allegorical tale describing the average Biden(Harris) voter.

Except substitute a Great White for the Hammerhead.

And sometimes, any shark has full tummy already - and is just checking out the environment.

There are amazing. Saw a little one when I was snorkeling off Jupiter Island years ago. Prehistoric is the only way I could describe it.

Not an expert. But I’ve snorkeled in Belize with Hammerheads and told they were absolutely not a threat. Nurse sharks too. Nurse sharks were enormous! Also, Lemon Sharks (?) Not sure.

“According to the International Shark Attack File, humans have been subject to 17 documented, unprovoked attacks by hammerhead sharks within the genus Sphyrna since 1580 AD. No human fatalities have been recorded.”

The things that pass for news these days.

I had a friend stationed at Enewetak Atoll, whose job it was to once a day, be flown in a helicopter to hover over a nuclear blast hole in the ocean floor with a radiac meter with a very long probe cord. Boring job, to say the least.

Well, for some reason, one day they had to take a different route to approach the blast hole, and they made a very interesting discovery.

Just outside of the radiation hazard area a shark had set up its territory. As non-territorial fish swam near the blast hole and got badly messed up by the radiation, they would be dying as they reached the shark’s territory. So instead of having to hunt them, it would just stay there and gobble them down.

And sharks are like goldfish—the more they eat and the bigger they get. Plus they can handle a lot of radiation without harm and generally do not develop cancer.

In any event, as the helicopter flew over its territory and saw this monster perhaps as long as their helicopter, they quickly resolved to put out a hit on the shark.

So the next time they flew there, they brought a high powered rifle and a crate of hand grenades.

Hammerheads rarely attempt to but humans.

“Hammerheads are actually sort of harmless to humans. “

Ever see them in a school protecting their young?? The ONLY time I was forced into a coral cave was by a hammerhead school. Vicious beasts that killed everything in sight.

I can swim with many types of sharks but tigers and hammerheads are two that scare the scrap out of me. Underwater, that’s noticeable!
