Cops know them by name. Frustrated? No. Just call it full employment for cops. I look at the arrest log every Friday. 10-15 arrests every week. 4-5 of the arrestees are repeat offenders.

The law is meaningless to some people.

How to kill two birds with one stone: I'm sure there are some hungry gators in Louisiana. Take a bite out of crime was a good slogan.

He probably would fail to appear at the "Gator school of respecting the law" program anyway.

We had a high falutin’ RAT for a neighbor a long time ago.
He was arrested 9 times for impaired drunk driving.
They always had to let him off because he had “connections” at the courthouse and city hall.
He’d come home drunk, beat the daylights out of his wife for good measure. Sometimes, he’d just literally toss her out in the back yard with only her panties on, and then “do” her out there on the grass right in front of us. It was totally useless to call the law on him. He was miniature Hunter Biden.
He eventually killed himself...drunk, went off the road and hit a big old oak tree head on. Fortunately, he didn’t take anyone else with him. Talking to his wife at the funeral, she whispered to my wife: “Thank God, he’s finally f-ing gone!!!”
There are some folks out there that just deserve a good, old-fashion, Texas killin’.

If You are in Texas and witnessed this POS treating his Wife like that, and were there then as a Citizen of The Great State of Texas then why did You not shoot this POS to save the Wife from him ? No Jury in Texas would have convicted you for saving Her from him...

Oh, you have no idea...LOL
For sure, that thought had crossed my mind on several occasions. His wife should have shot him herself. Yeah, I probably could have shot him and eventually gotten off, but it would have been a battle as his family was high up politically with a lot of money.
FWIW, I held him at gunpoint several times till the law arrived. They’d come out, toss him in the cruiser and sometimes even take him to jail, but he was always out the next day...with a vengeance. Helluva guy. We were ALL glad when the evil SOB finally became worm food.
