Now is not the time

He's right.
Bad enough that the mask Nazis are trying their best to wreck the holidays.
Meanwhile, we give Trump attorneys time to work.

Weird. Shelves are empty at our local grocery magnate here in OK. Went yesterday. No toilet paper or paper towels, except for the generic knock-offs that disintegrate when you even look at them. Very glad I’ve been “buying ahead” a little at a time for the last couple months.

I’m guessing it’s because of the rumors of a strike, and people are reverting back to panic-buying. Wish someone would get the word to these vultures if there really is no cause for concern.

>>Now is not the time <<

If not now, when? The republic is being destroyed before our very eyes. Should President Trump not prevail, it is the end of free elections. Dictatorship will replace the republic.

I expect that if the election fraud is not resolved by legal means, then we will have plenty of time to let slip the dogs of war.

I think he’s right.

What with the holidays, if they did this they’d be hurting the honest everyday Americans the most.

Also there’s the election challenge to consider.

Once the electoral college votes and should Biden actually get sworn in, God forbid, THAT will be the time to protest. When the protest is not hurting Trump or the American people.

Plus, since people know it’s coming, they will have more time to prep for it. I know that’s what I’m going to be spending my time doing.

There also are shutdowns coming in various parts of the country, and the World. People know what happened last time. Once the shortages started, nothing has been the same on my local grocery store’s shelves. They don’t replace things weekly. Somethings just disappear. It has been months of strange brands no one ever hear of to replace national brands, or low volume of goods spread out to seem more bountiful.

I had the wife pick up 3 12 packs of mega rolls yesterday. DailyMail had an article a couple of days ago and listed shortages in different States which included KC, MO and we’re in MO so we stocked up.

Back before the first TP shortages, when covid hadn’t really gotten to the US yet, as soon as I saw video of Italy’s empty shelves, I went shopping. Even bought a small chest freezer and filled it. We’d been wanting a freezer for a couple of years now.

A few weeks later, all the TP and freezers were gone.

You did right to listen to your instincts. Wish to heck I’d bought a chest freezer at the beginning, but workflow & income weren’t sufficient at that time to allow me to splurge.

Then again, with the recent ice storm & resulting mass power outages in OK (some lasting 1-2 weeks), I would’ve lost all that food and meat anyhow, since I don’t have a generator to hook a freezer up to. Wish I could afford both, just in case of another outage in the future.

Ice storms in OK already? We haven’t even had our first real freeze yet here in MO. First frost date was Oct 15th. It was 72 degrees yesterday. In the current 7 day forecast, one low of 32 but that’s not really a freeze. Highs are 48-55. Been weird but I’m not complaining. Not great for the deer hunters. This weekend is the last of firearm season. Thanksgiving Day will be a high of 57.

We lived off grid for 5 years so I don’t do without a gennie. Lost power for a few hours here yesterday due to it being real windy but it wasn’t long enough to fire up the generator. Next thing I’m looking at is a manual transfer switch so I don’t have to run extension cords everywhere when we do have to run the gennie. Just start the gennie and flip a switch. It’s not a stand by generator, just a portable. Champion brand are decent and cheap. We’ve got a few solar penels too but need a new charge controller and batteries which will run about $600.00. Already have 12vdc LED lighting and an inverter to give us 120vac to run all the little stuff, modem, laptops, cordless phone, tv etc.

Next year for all the above.
