Rockefeller Christmas tree, from CNY, gets mocked and compared to Charlie Brown

The 2020 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, a 75-foot tall Norway spruce that was acquired in Oneonta, N.Y., is secured on a platform at Rockefeller Center Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, in New York.
This year’s Rockefeller Christmas tree, which comes from Central New York, is reminding many people of Charlie Brown.
The 75-foot Norway spruce, donated by Al Dick of Daddy Al’s General Store in Oneonta, N.Y., arrived in New York City on Saturday for the annual holiday tradition. Many social media users complained it didn’t look very full after being lifted into its spot by a crane, and compared it to the sad-looking tree from “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

What gets me is that in typical bureaucrat fashion, no one is willing to step up and say “Hey... that tree. Can we do something about this?”
Nope. Everyone rubber stamped their job and got lunch.

Reminds me of growing up. We would always get a real semi-ratty tree and spend 1/2 an hour rotating it until my mother would say that's the best it's going to look. This guy never would have come in the house.
