The DOD just announced that all civilian spec ops are to report directly to Chris Miller.
My understanding is all the spec ops teams from CIA, FBI, DEA, DHS, etc now report directly to the DOD instead of using the traditional chain of command bypassing the corrupt bureaucrats.
I am not sure, but this seems like a big deal.

If anyone other than Donald Trump was in office, the attempt would have succeeded long ago. But this remarkable man continues to fight hard, and he is utterly fearless. On occasion, instinct takes the place of empirical "knowledge", and turns out to have been every bit as accurate.
Westley Clark came up with a workaround to Posse Comitatus to get those guys equipped.
There was all this talk about keeping these guy’s edges from collapsing.

This sounds like a new service department to consolidate military spec ops, headed by a civilian service chief...like the Depts of Army, Navy and AF

But there are civilians that head Depts of Army, Navy and AF
Now we have a new Dept of Spec Ops with a civilian chief
