A nut with a flamethrower hopped on top of an MTA bus and torched the air above as onlookers filmed and cheered — sparking outrage at the MTA and among police unions who say the bizarre display is the latest sign of urban decay.
The wild incident unfolded around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8 on Putnam Avenue at the intersection with Franklin Avenue in Bed-Stuy, the MTA confirmed.
Videos posted to social media show an unknown man on top of an ice cream truck before leaping to the roof of the B26 bus that had stopped at the intersection.

Man Shoots Flamethrower From Roof Of MTA Bus In Brooklyn (This is a video; but there is a higher angle video at the NY Post link)
Is that you?
...sparking outrage at the MTA
For what? Not erecting "Man With Flamethrower Barriers" on each bus top?
Shit Happens :)
“...as onlookers filmed and cheered.”
Are we anywhere near rock bottom yet?
We’re getting closer. Herr Biden will let you know.
Sounds like Bridget Pike, aka Firefly, from Fox’s series “Gotham.”
Book ‘em danno!
Then release him on no bail and make him take another bus home.
Close.
Maybe got his inspiration from this scene....
“Defund the police!”
Nice.
Once Upon A Time in Hollywood featured flamethrowers pretty prominently.
Outstanding movie.
I like the cut of this guy’s jib. Flamethrowers.
Where can I get one?
One well placed bullet and you could turn it into a Michael Jackson Pepsi video...
Did he look anything like this guy?
Makes sense to me. The only way I would even think about riding mass transit these days is if I had a flamethrower. Also would come in handy when trying to walk home from Trump rallies, or if attacked by a xenomorph.
Except for clearing brush in a controlled burn, I don’t see any practical use for a flamethrower. People get carried away with the Comic Book level novelty of having one.
If these are easy to obtain, expect to see some group like Antifa or BLM using one against police one day.
That 2018 movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was a great flick. Certainly not a fan of their politics, but DiCaprio and Pitt were great. About the Sharon Tate murder.
