Trust the science. All I need is the air I breath sans CO2 to save the earth.

Yawn. Wait a while and another study will claim the opposite.

Let me see if I get this right. A protein and fat food makes one’s blood sugar rise and insulin inefficient. Is that correct?
Does it also lead to covid?

Maybe it’s Chinese eggs? Considering the toxic swill they feed their peasants, I’d hate to see what the Chicoms feed their layer hens.

Pretty sure they didn’t test this and included beer in the diet, which I believe offsets any deleterious effects of everything :)

So we’ve swung back around to “eggs are bad” again, eh? I remember they went from being a breakfast staple to a cholesterol trap, to nature’s perfect food, and now back to “diabetes risk”. Whatever sells papers, I guess.

“The study specifically focused on people in China, which has undergone a transition away from a traditional diet comprising grains and vegetables, to a more processed diet that includes greater amounts of meat, snacks and eggs, according to Dr Li. “ See, folks, this is why I don’t do science. I would be thinking “Gee, wonder if it’s all the highly processed crap and them going from a regular diet to sludge-in-a-box?” and not “Eggs! It’s the eggs! Stay away from the eggs!”

Previous studies have indicated that eating eggs can actually keep diabetes at bay, adding a confusing mix of scientific literature to the debate.

Then I think we know how much credence to give to this study.

That’s why you should always eat two or three, with bacon, toast, lots of butter, and black coffee. Yum.

I have been and always will be somewhat dubious about any “study” being pushed by the media. There are very many things to look at re the study (math, analysis, samples - size yes, but was it truly random, etc.- and more).

And always always remember that our media folks are media folks because science courses were the things that they avoided in university. In fact, they avoided any course that required anything greater than repetition and naivety. That’s WHY they are only the media. They will report anything, anything that’ll grab your eye.

War on eggs. The well paid, totally redundant idiots that do these kind of studies, won’t be happy until all that’s left to eat is each other. They just feed the ‘anxiety about everything’ brigade

I call BS.

Fat and protein don’t release insulin into your system NEAR as much as carbs.
Less insulin released overall means less insulin resistance. Less insulin resistance means lower diabetes, If I have the correct version of diabetes in mind.

Let me guess, large scale chicken farming for eggs is a leading cause of greenhouse gasses.
