NAPLES, Fla. Its just another day in Florida a large gator was spotted strolling around a golf course in Naples on Wednesday.
A video shows the gator wandering around and enjoying the tropical conditions at the Valencia Golf & Country Club.
The country club is located on Double Eagle Trail off Randall Boulevard. Sort video at link.

Takes a lot of dogs to get that big.
I was thinking children, tourists and old people.
Looking for a voting booth, no doubt..................
If a giant gator walks across the golf course and stops within a club’s length of your ball, what’s the ruling?
Do you have to play it as it lies or can you take relief?
Must be a low rent golf club. Normally developments control the size of the gators. Every place I worked out, a guy would come out and snare the big ones and take them out in the Glades every so often. If anyone ever saw one that big, he’d have been gone the next day.
I aways thought Florida would be a great place to live...and then I see something like this.
This explains half-backs.

Or Burmese Pythons.
True story: When the 14ft alligator was resting on the 18th green, we each took a par for the hole rather than chipping and putting.

Obviously.
It IS a fa ulous place to live.
I’m pretty sure relieving oneself would be automatic, ruling or no. :)
Obviously he drank a lot of Gatorade
Looks like a golf community. Basically a large apartment or condo complex that has a small 9 hole course. My sister lived in one. All depends on where it was but critters are known to wander out of their normal range, especially when their normal range gets bulldozed for development.
Disney World was all swamp land at one time. It’s taken a lot of GA clay to build FL.
Are you saying you dont mess with a gator while chasing a birdie?
Golf courses in Florida don’t mind gators at all. In fact they typically even feed them, verses having them trapped. Reason? Well one is they keep the golfers from getting the balls from the water, which a lot of the courses resell, later.

And basketballs, missed one....
When the gator is greater than 12ft long, definitely.
