I would imagine they’re considered “varmint” and able to be hunted? Or no?

Lol, not so much in Massachusetts, but in other sane states, I would think that you can take them out.

In my state (Michigan) coyote season is year round and you only need a small game license. If you are on your own land you do not need a license.
