It’s a big joke in my house that they still haven’t called Alaska for Trump. They called Hawaii in nano seconds for Biden but man, it’s just really hard to count all those grizzly bear votes!

With 50% counted Trump 118000. Biden 63000. Dems are working on a solution to cover that 55000 difference with that other half of the vote
They called Hawaii for Biden a couple of hours before the polls closed and before a single vote was counted.
They also need to resurrect some of the original Gold Rush pioneers so they can also have a say in the election.

Alaskan here. Folks need some education it seems. Unlike Hawaii, we are a tremendously large state (Texas x 2.5), 70% of which is completely inaccessible by road. Receiving mail-in ballots from our rural communities is time consuming and laborious. Furthermore, once those ballots are received, they are cross-checked with in-person voting records to ensure only one vote was cast. Never say never since this could come down to 3 electoral votes, but I don’t think cheating is a concern. Based on my back of the envelope math, knowing what I know about turnout, registrations, and remaining votes to count, Trump should carry Alaska at 57%, bringing Rep. Young and Senator Sullivan with him. I believe we have another week to certify, if not longer.
They’re holding it back in case they pull a state from Biden and he needs another path. It’s a game they play. Trump is up something like 63% in Alaska

No one is questioning the state. Were questioning why the “media” hasn’t called it for Trump when it’s obvious he will take it.
Yes, that is the issue, but also even with all the checking and double checking it also is crazy that Alaska hasn’t really moved in how many votes have been counted.
If anything it’s Senator Dan Sullivan they’re trying to get rid of. They’re not nearly close enough for that one either.
FOX was reporting that the dems were keeping the House BEFORE the polls closed in those states...As far as I can tell, no one raised an eyebrow....
They’ve got to get out and gather all the votes from those diminishing polar bears, and walruses. That’ll take some time.
They’re counting each “snowflake “ and we all know how that vote will go. ;)
We’ve never had an election like this (soooo many mail-in ballots) so previous elections are irrelevant IMO

Not calling AK was to keep Trump’s numbers artificially low, to artificially manufacture the appearance of a ‘blue wave mandate’. They’re playing the same game with NC. Trump barely gets 200, Biden zooms past 300 kind of psyops. Just like the psyops of the grossly misleading polls.
CA OR and WA were called at exactly 8:02 for the NYT site I was watching—an instant blue flood!
I’ve been voting in CA now for 30 years but it was a little discouraging this year watching that, at 8:02. All that trouble I went to showing my 18 year old how to vote, going down in person, standing in line, etc—instant repudiation of me and all I stand for. Like I don’t exist.
