Alaskan here. Folks need some education it seems. Unlike Hawaii, we are a tremendously large state (Texas x 2.5), 70% of which is completely inaccessible by road. Receiving mail-in ballots from our rural communities is time consuming and laborious. Furthermore, once those ballots are received, they are cross-checked with in-person voting records to ensure only one vote was cast. Never say never since this could come down to 3 electoral votes, but I dont think cheating is a concern. Based on my back of the envelope math, knowing what I know about turnout, registrations, and remaining votes to count, Trump should carry Alaska at 57%, bringing Rep. Young and Senator Sullivan with him. I believe we have another week to certify, if not longer.
Ok, is it normal to be at 50% reporting 5 days after the election?
No one is questioning the state. Were questioning why the media hasnt called it for Trump when its obvious he will take it.
