I would say the very last line of defense is a physical conflict, and it’s good for enemies foreign and domestic to know this.

That sounds good on paper, but just as they erode a smashing electoral victory with an incremental trickling in of ‘magically found’ (fraudulent) votes, they erode our resolve to act physically by incrementally getting us used to their increasingly iron-fisted rule.
In other words, while we (the frogs in the pot of warm water) keep working out non-physical ways to respond, they keep turning up the heat to ensure all we can do is remain in the pot.
That’s just an analogy.

They’re leaving the Senate in doubt to blunt the response to the Big Steal. Establishment don’t-rock-the-boat types will say “at least they can’t do much damage if the GOP holds the Senate” and bail on Trump. As soon as that happens, they will find a way - by hook, crook, sedition, treason or outright coup - to take the Senate. They are far far too close to shutting down the United States forever to let the chance pass.
Cheer up. It is serious but not fatal.

There is no laboratory evidence I could find that the frog actually allows himself to be boiled alive. I like to think that when it is time the frog jumps out of the pot and just happens to be thoroughly pi$$ed.

We can blame senators in front of the stupified masses. But if we do, how will we do with a consequent Senate minority? That’s what’s about to happen, if we drop the ball by shooing voters away from Republican senators.
Democrats will start right away with gun control. Democrats will stack the Supreme Court. Democrats will pass further measures to stop elections of Republicans. A third party would be a sickening joke.
I’m not going to be part of the Republican Paycheck Protection cannon fodder if they sell out President Trump.

You say that the Republican Senate majority has sold out our President. We disagree on that. I don’t want the Democrat Party to have a Senate majority, so we disagree on that, too. We also disagree on the Second Amendment and our other important rights. And we disagree on whether or not the U.S.A. should be a banana republic.
