Sooo.....I've been thinking. Where is your top pick to watch liberal heads explode on election night?
Oh dp - please don’t dump me! We’ve had such a nice time together lol. I am so sorry that I went to bed, but I’m up again! Can’t sleep. I can’t imagine how you guys feel. My niece in Vegas can’t eat, can’t sleep....she’s so worried about Tuesday and what the dems will pull.
I’m going to have to turn off the news until Tuesday night (ha! good luck) and get myself settled. It’s like an addiction though.....I’ve just got to know what’s going on.
I think for election night I will just watch the Trump Train thread for updates. I will be on messenger with my daughter and my Vegas niece. We watched the debates “together” and it was fun lol. If, as I hope, it becomes obvious that it’s a landslide for your wonderful president, then I will have to tune in to watch CNN start crying lol.
My goodness, I don’t know how the president and all those close to him handle this!
I’ll probably be asleep especially since the Democrats plan to drag it out, days, weeks...

I will likely watch FoX Business as it and CNBC are about the only cable “news” channels I can tolerate.
Though I admit I will change over to CNN and MSNBC to check in from time to time. Especially if the night goes the way I expect it to.
I also plan on checking in on LS’s livestream. But forget the URL
Ah, I don’t feel nervous but I know I am because I’m not falling asleep :)
Next will be muscle tremors in old injuries and then maybe pain in the gut :)
I take klonopin for seizures upon waking, and I can take extra to fall asleep but I don’t want to do that.
Worse things than being awake.
But by Tuesday my posts will be mostly gibberish. More than they usually are :)
This working from home kills.
At least there was the commute and then people to talk to all day to kill the day.

I usually work till 10:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. This week I will beg my boss to go home early, because I really am nervous. Lots of BLM & Antifa types live in my neighborhood.

I will never forget that night if I live to be 100. I also was resigned to Hillary winning, and I decided not to watch TV at all. Too depressing.
Then at around 9:30 p.m. (NY time), while I was at work, my girlfriend Facebooked me: "Trump is in the lead."
"What???" I declared. I turned to CNN, which sure enough confirmed it.
I hurried home & turned on CNN, while keeping in touch with friends on Facebook. "Trump just got Nebraska . . . Iowa . . ."
Finally, at around 2:00 a.m., his face appeared on the screen. "PRESIDENT TRUMP!"
I am praying for the same thing this year.
Don’t expect much before 1115 EST.
I hope I can sleep until 11pm.

I don’t have cable, so my choices are limited.
Top choice is NBC — Chuck Todd, Andrea Mitchell, Savannah Guthrie, Richard Engel, Martha Radditz. They never look better than with tears running down their shocked faces.

Yes, it is possible to flip the votes. I remember years ago watching a piece with an IT guy showing 5 poll officials by doing it in real time with their votes on their machines. They were all flabbergasted.
This is why a paper receipt, verified by the voter and deposited in a locked ballot box, is essential.
I’m going to DVR several several of them. Watching the Young Turds melt down again is at the top of my list......though I’m giddy at the prospect of watching the CNN crew get another one stuffed down their throats as well.
As I confessed before, I go back and watch one of the various channels’ election night 2016 videos every so often. I can’t help it. It’s like porn to me. :^). I’m looking to add to my collection in the next couple days.
If you can stomach it, The Young Turks, the meltdown they had in 2016 was epic.
The corollary of course is how do we meltdown here at FR if Biden wins? I suppose 2008 and 12 threads would be a reference.
