They took off in a hurry but these New Yorkers are on the express line back to the city.

Turns out, not all New Yorkers are cut out for country living.
I was definitely not in farm-shape when I got there, said Thacher, who briefly volunteered at a friends organic homestead.

And so after testing out life in Massachusetts, Vermont and Beacon in upstate New York, Thacher settled on, well, Brooklyn.
Its just so easy to walk places without having to plan things out. You can stumble upon bars or restaurants and not be on a script here.

On June 1, she signed a lease on a much bigger three-bedroom flat in Burlington, Vt., where she moved with her two Siberian Huskies.
After two weeks I was like, Is this all there is? Where is everybody?

She was happy to return to the churn of fast-paced city life and soon found herself back in her old routine of visiting museums, walking through Riverside Park and volunteering with the Wild Bird Fund.
I moved back right in time for the Met re-opening, said Cross. When I walked into the room with the Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko paintings, my cells fell back into place.

The dogs are wondering where all the open space the saw has gone.
“...and soon found herself back in her old routine of visiting museums, walking through Riverside Park and volunteering with the Wild Bird Fund...”
Oh that sounds like a cool way to piss away your life.
Please God,
Let all the libtards flock back to nyc, expel them out of good peoples cities and states
Also easier target grouping there for you
“I Get To Live The Rest Of My Life Like A Schnook”.
Cidiot drivers these days won't even listen to directions, they rely exclusively on gps systems which ALWAYS route the driver on freeways even when they are completely unnecessary. Twice the distance but "freeway!".
I feel sorry for those huskies... talk about a dog unfit for cramped city life...
Obviously a student of the Bloomberg school of farming.
Pollock and Rothko, phony art for phony people.
>>...where she moved with her two Siberian Huskies....
Russian collusion
Jerry's cousin Jeffrey works there!
having theater showing at the local Barn
Don't forget to call Movie Phone! 555-FILK. Get picked up by a rickshaw!
I love how NYC rats mock & ridicule the South, but move to the South the mock & ridicule.
Stay in your vile vapid city.
I hope that a muffin stump is included with the rickshaw ride.
Dog crap isn't that bad...it's all the human crap that's fun.
Yeah, like the looting, rioting, crammed subways, pickpockets....oh, and COVID. Id miss that crap too. NOT!!!
I guess you believe everything the MSM tells you.
I'll be honest. I haven't been back to public transportation since March. But I do have to go into the City for my medical treatments. I've driven miles of Manhattan streets. I've seen no looting (or boarded up store windows) or rioting (or even a peaceful protest).
I've been on my own all over NYC for 60+ years and never had my pocket picked. Nor do I know anyone who has had their pocket picked.
My daughter lived on Fifth Ave near Union Square for about eight years. I regularly got out at the Union Square Subway Stop and walked around the Union Square Flea Market. Nothing bad ever happened.
Stop watching the MSM. It's bad for you.

If she goes to another city, she’d find she can discover new parks and admire other paintings.
Or you can have a hot cheese slice and a Coke on the sidewalk.
Every
Single
Day
Consistency is ok but it also has a tendency toward sameness and being in a rut and routine.
Yep.
You forgot the grimy sidewalks, graffiti-ridden buildings, bums hanging out in the street, panhandlers bothering you outside of and inside of restaurants, rats scurrying here and there, being utterly surrounded by concrete, not being able to drive and park freely anywhere, very high taxes and very high tolls just to get from Point A to Point B, incessant traffic jams, ridiculous libtard laws like the one instantly releasing arrestees without requiring bail, etc. Boy, I miss that SOOO much from here in the Baltimore suburbs---NOT!!
Yeah, but the 'shine's perdy good if'n yah buy the good stuff that comes in the Mason jars.
It is so obvious.
She’d rather look at a landscape than scenery that is truly beautiful. She craves attention and obviously does not like being by herself. Anyone who is that caught up in her surroundings is, well, shallow.
