AOC, Ilhan Omar tweet ‘expand the court’ after Barrett confirmation

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for more seats to be added to the Supreme Court — shortly after Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed as the newest justice on the bench Monday evening.

“Expand the court,” the Bronx-born congresswoman wrote on Twitter.

Her message was re-tweeted by fellow “squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).

“Remember that Republicans have lost 6 of the last 7 popular votes, but have appointed 6 of the last 9 justices,” Omar added.

“By expanding the court we fix this broken system and have the court better represent the values of the American people.”

It needs to be made clear to these communists that any attempt to follow through with this is a bridge too far. It should be made clear that destroying one branch of government, a la Venezuela would make it time for the 2nd Amendment veto.

You would think Democrats would be concerned about a kind of arms race where each Senate turnover packs the court towards larger and larger numbers. That assumes Republicans ever get control of the Senate again.

In her ads on the radio Heels Up Harris has been promoting a voting rights bill. You can be sure the fix is in if that passes! It's how the Rats have come to dominate California. 53 Congressional seats and they control 45. But her argument is moot. The electoral college is our system. Popular vote means little. I lived under that kind of tyranny in California where it was the central coast from L.A. to SF that controlled the state despite the millions and millions of other people in California and they wouldn't let us leave. They were happy to take our taxes though.

She’s technically correct. It’s not the popular vote that matters. Of course, in those same elections only Obama (2x) and W (2004) actually received a majority of the popular vote. Everybody else failed to hit the 50% mark, win or lose. And then there was the ‘Rat cheating. All the ‘Rat cheating...

If you extend it to the last 10 elections, it splits 4-6, but you add another 3 true majorities on the Republican side, and by crushing margins.
