Out of 2,726,887 currently infected patients in the U.S., 2,711,522 are considered "Mild Condition." That is 99.44%
Worldwide there are 9,153,428 currently infected patients, of which 9,080,834 are considered "Mild Condition." That is 99.21%.
The numbers of non-mild cases may be inflated for political reasons.
Ivory Soap Covid-19
Like Ivory Snow.
Ninety-nine and forty-four one hundredths percent pure horse hockey.
It’s one of those stats they don’t list explicitly. You have to use a calculator to subtract “serious/critical” from “active cases”.
Also, the U.S. recovery rate has been increasing (96.04% now, increases by ~0.02% every day). Texas is approaching 750,000 recovered cases.
Define “mild.”
At this point I personally know an increasing number of people who have had it and it was a living hell for them to go through. These were very young and healthy people. One older person I know died.
This is hitting home too much as of late which is why I get very angry with the amazingly stupid posts “this is no worse than the common cold” that some even now are still posting.
Hey Boomer!
Everyone I know who got “it” says it was a nothing burger. That happens to be an anecdotal 8 cases. People I work with every single day, wide range of ages from 30’s to late 50’s..
So I don’t know. Perhaps lot’s of different strains going around. IDK.
I had it and wouldn’t consider the 12 days down with it “mild”, but on the flip side, it wasn’t anywhere near a “death sentence” either. It’s a nasty bug and weird. Some people have no symptoms, others have mild symptoms, while others like me, had it a pretty rough go of it for awhile.
The main thing is I had it, got over it and now carrying on with life.
Recent data reports that out of 50,000 more or less cases among college students, two (2) were hospitalized. Dont know where you live with all that plague going on; but you might want to consider moving.
Same here. A day of two of mild symptoms, if that.
Had my middle one tested today. Doc seems to think she has it. So far fatigue, nausea and dizziness. Will find out Wednesday.
I have not seen anyone younger than 80 having anymore than sinus/cold symptoms from this in 5 months. The 80 and over with pre-existing conditions such as kidney problems, CHF and COPD get sicker but usually get better on IV antibiotics and prednisone. Even they are not dying from coviid, but other complicating factors. They would be in the same shape with influenza.
Covid is now way overblown and fear mongers like democrat governors and Fauci need to not be given the time of day anymore.
A good friend of mine’s wife had it. Sounds about like your case.
You're soaking in it.
President Trump took various meds and appears to have had a pretty easy time with COVID. His younger wife the First Lady says she didn’t take anything but vitamins and had a rough couple of days.
IOW experiences vary. The bottom line is that the hospitalization rates do not justify economy- and lives-ruining shutdowns.
btt
And so 210,000 didn’t die from the disease. That number includes those who had 1 or 2 viruses when they died. Who benefits from the inflated number? Those who planned to blame it on Trump from the start.
