(FOX NEWS) -- In the increasingly hectic and stressful year of 2020, people are seeking calm wherever they can find it from frolicking through the fields to adopting plants. But now theres another natural way to restore your cortisol levels: cow-hugging.
People in several parts of the world have begun to embrace the alleged wellness trend, which reportedly originated in the Netherlands, where it is known as koe knuffelen.
According to the BBC, the practice of cuddling cows is supposed to reduce stress in humans by releasing the bonding hormone oxytocin.

Yum, ribeyes. My favorite cut. The American Legion was grilling Ribeyes out today. So I had two.
Well, I figured this would be a slight diversion from the nightly lather-rinse-repeat of Bidengate, election fraud, fake polls, and COVID-19.
Is this before or after they’ve consumed magic mushrooms from the cow pies?
I never knew how much to tip a cow anyway. Never could get a good cow tip calculator.
True story. I was driving in Nevada out in the middle of nowhere when I saw a cow about to cross the highway. It stopped and looked both ways and then waited for me to make a full stop. Then it proceeded to cross the highway. When it got safely to the other side it turned and looked at me as if to say thank you. I wanted to give the cow a hug.
Or a kitten or a guinea pig or a stuffed alligator.
What the heck?
Wait till someone’s hubby tries to hug the blonde next door. For once, he’s got a good excuse.
Lovin’ my Porterhouse....
Grilled ribeye over mesquite, served with garlic butter sauce, a pile of veggies, and a nice salad— oh baby, let her rip!!
So many liberals are just so stupid.
I grew up with everything on a little farm. We used to lick the salt block, ride horses bareback, chase the chickens and scratch the cows. Until a little one decides back up to start chasing you. I guarantee, when the chase begins you can run faster than a deer, hit the ground like a Yankee batter, and slide under the lowest string of barb wire like a seal on the sand. This nature worship generation will learn. We worship the God of nature, not nature.
If these people had ever smelled a cow fresh out of the pasture...no hugging would be happening.
True story. My dad hit a cow in the middle of nowhere in Nevada at night. The Cadillac was severely damaged and you know the rest.
Dindu Knuffelen
Knuffelen, honey. Be home soon.
:)
One thing I learned when driving a semi....do NOT hit any kind of farm animal on reservation land.
You’ll be paying for that animal, and the offspring of that animal, and the offspring of THOSE animals....
