Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota said on Monday that Republicans would "lose their mind" if a Muslim woman were appointed to fill a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court.

"Let's be clear about this: if a Muslim woman was nominated to SCOTUS you would see Republicans lose their mind about her religious background," Omar wrote on Twitter. "'Sharia law' would be trending right now. Miss me with the pearl-clutching and all this righteous talk about religious freedom."

Her thinking is slightly out of sync. What she SHOULD HAVE said was; Someone would have to have lost their mind, to nominate a Muslim woman to the Supreme Court.

It's not like the vast majority of the misery and strife in the world during the last 40 years hasn't been directly related to Islam increasing in populations and government involvement that directly caused that strife.

Been posted here many times, bears repeating, especially with someone like her having actual power over people in this government, however small. That is how tyrannical scum like her start.

1. As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness.
   
   
2. At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs [Europe, Australia, USA and Japan]. Just imagine how the left would react if an ACTUAL strict traditionalist practicing Muslim got nominated for SCOTUS and said flat out during confirmation hearings that homosexual relationships are "an abomination against nature that the government can never condone", and that he would quickly move to "follow Sharia law on this one" and "reinstate a nationwide ban on sodomy" if he served on the court.

BTW, I supported Sajid Javid for Conservative Leader of the UK in their 2019 leadership election. If Bernie Sanders is "Jewish" and Sonya Sotomayor is "Catholic" (both solely based on ethnic origins and family heritage, not on their own religious views), then Sajid certainly counts as "Muslim".

And I guarantee you, having him as Prime Minister of the UK would have driven Ilhan Omar insane. It would be fun to watch him debate "Jew" Bernie Sanders over Israel, would look like something out of the Twilight Zone.
