A couple of my neighbors live on a Uniflite that’s a little newer than that one. They just moved up from a small sailboat and needed the room. We took it out a couple of weekends ago for the day and had a blast.

I did live in my van for a few months after I left my parents home (the first morning that I woke up to icicles cured me of that!) so I know what it’s like. A boat that size can be comfortable for a vacation (trips for us averaged two weeks) but I have a hard time envisioning an extended occupation.

I have liveaboards all around me. Most on boats smaller than that. A lot of sailboat dwellers. And they have lived on their boats many years. Just had one neighbor/friend move into a retirement apartment that had lived on his 35 ft sailboat over 25 years. He says he can’t sleep because the apartment doesn’t rock. lol
