The great-granddaughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Desiree S. Anzalone, died Sept. 27 at 31 following a battle with breast cancer.
Anzalone, Ball and Arnazs first great-grandchild, had been receiving treatment at Smilow Cancer Center in Connecticut, according to People.
SNIP
Desiree, who worked as a photographer, had battled breast cancer since the age of 25; it was initially diagnosed as stage 2. She elected to undergo a double mastectomy and subsequently went into remission, though two years ago, doctors determined that the cancer had returned, spread elsewhere in her body and progressed to stage 4.

Was just reading about Lucy & Desi’s kids yesterday. Desi Jr. fathered a child at 15 or so.
(I know dead has mentioned this before.)
“I Love Lucy” had an episode in 1956 where they go to London, Ricky performs in front of Queen Elizabeth II (who’s held the throne since 1952), and Lucy gets to meet her.
It’s 2020. Lucile Ball’s great grandchildren are tragically passing away. If it wasn’t such a well made show, “I Love Lucy” would be as well remembered as another 1952 show, “Life with Luigi”.
Who’s still Queen? Elizabeth II.
Someone need to check if the Queen is a daylight vampire.
Minnie Riperton?
Prayers for her family

Was just on TMC. Really enjoyed it.
Get smart really can crack you up,
Gee Im sorry to hear of this young persons passing.
Great grandchild from the 1950s? Hell, my grandpa met Frank James.
Minnie Ripperton.
I had to look up Life with Luigi. The neighbor was played by Alan Reed - strange listening to Fred Flintstone talk-a inna Italiano accent-a that was the cliche back then.
Didn’t Richard long also play Jared in the Big Valley?
Just rechecked my memory. Yes that’s her.
Fantastic blog. Appreciate you posting. I’ve forwarded it to two people who could be helped. Thank you.
:-(
RIP.
Wow, I can’t believe you remember that old comment. I can’t believe I remember making that old comment.
It indeed was a comment from years and years and years ago.
And yet
who's still Queen of England? Elizabeth II
Lucy and Ethel died of old age more than 30 years ago. The Queen was out riding her horse a couple of weeks ago! What the hell is that!?
