Seaver, Brock, Gibson, and now Ford gone, all in a six week period. RIP.
Lost Tom Seaver, Bob Gibson and Whitey Ford in the same fortnight. That makes three. I guess Sandy Koufax is safe for a while longer.
RIP Whitey. The game sure ain’t what it used to be.

LOL...join the club!
Yogi, Whitey, and Mickey
So many greats gone....

I grew up in the Bay Area, my dad took me to quite a few Giants games at Candlestick. Willie Mays was my first sports hero. Seeing these greats pass on has been tough.
For me it was a J.C. Higgins bike from Sears!
“...the era when it was about the game....”
A much better time.
“I wish I didnt put his baseball card on the spokes of my stingray.”
Time Warp statement of the week.
I was there too back in the day! Those names are all engraved in my mind and are as contemporary as if they were still with us and still playing. RIP
