The team appears to be a privately owned team, but licensed in the US. I don’t know if there any US public funds involved. They have made themselves fair game by their outrageous action. They have a public persona, sponsors and social media presence. All is war now and they are a combatant.

The left successfully ripped this country to shreds where Americans hate other Americans much worse than the Civil War era. Being called a Trumper is at the level of being called Jew in Hitler’s era. I know so many that are brain washed and mentally ill with this psychosis of Trump hatred.

It has nothing to do with cycling or his performance.
It’s simply punishing him for holding a contrary view on politics, something he is allowed to do in this free country.
The sport of cycling has also gone woke. USACycling has openly declared support of Black Lives Matter, as have some manufacturers, including Trek. After three decades in the sport, I have left, informing USACycling that it is due to their support of a domestic terrorist organization. It has led me to abandoning cycling.
Looking forward to the day where anyone wishing to live must have the mark of the Democrat Party (is that the “Mark of the Beast”?) stamped on them. Looking like we won’t have too long to wait.
