when my girls were teens, I was in the room all the time. Cleaning up, dropping off laundry, ect. I cannot imagine Romeo and Juliet were so stealth that mom would not have noticed a stray shirt, sock, smell that did not quite belong there.

How could they go a whole month not knowing something was going on in that house and not investigating it, unless they were totally bad parents whose lives are totally disconnected from their child’s life, right there all around them.

My niece went to spend the night with a female friend in the 80’s. My sister and I were halfway through a cup of coffee when she stormed in the front door, went to her room and slammed the door. My sister went in to talk to her.
Her friends mother had a boyfriend in his early 30’s, who woke her up (12 year old girl) at about 6:30 AM, with her nightgown pulled up around her barely developing breasts, and was pulling her panties down. I didn’t have to guess what his intent was.
I didn’t own a gun, yet, I grabbed a military diving knife, (same as the Marine battle knife, made by Kabar, a foot long, 7 inch blade, and mine was literally razor sharp). I headed for the door seriously pissed, my sister literally tackled me and shoved me back into the room, screaming NO NO don’t do this...I don’t remember how long the argument lasted, but she had to literally drag or shove me back into he room 2 or 3 times, both of us screaming the whole time, I just basically repeated I’ll kill the bastard...
She finally got me calmed down, I put the knife away and she wouldn’t let me walk out the door all day. She knew I’d go over and beat the turd to a pulp. The only time I did go out she was with me, and watched me like a hawk.
Now I’m not a big guy, or much of a fighter. I was 5’10”, about 125lbs, too skinny, but when I got pissed I was mean as all hell and not afraid of ANYBODY...period...and she knew I’d kill the guy if she let me go out the door with the nife, if I went out later without it I’d probably beat him damn near to death without a second thought. I was like that in school with her as a kid, I’d get in a guy’s face if he messed with her, even if he was literally twice my size, I didn’t care.
I have no use for a turd like this. I have a neighbor who is a registered sex offender, gay sex with a minor, he and his father just don’t understand why I wanted him OUT of our yard...I want to rip his damn head off every time I look at him...20 year old punk (then) was also a smart ass first time I met him and before I knew about his background. I think he’s about 25-28 or so now. I still want to twist his head off...slowly...
