I think for the most part the surviving members of the Dead gave up drugs years ago, and are health nuts now for the most part.

Elvis never wrote music. Or was that /sarc?
Yes, that was meant as a joke. I would assume that all of his songs were written by other people.
Yes... that's not really 'old' anymore, given so many people are living at least until their late 80s - early 90s these days.
Keith Richards has outlived two more celebrities.
I used to go to Rome, NY on business trips that would sometimes last into the weekend. One Saturday I made it to the Hall of Fame. It was great.
When I sat up in the upper deck at Memorial Stadium with Wild Bill’s group, they didn’t allow people to sit on the fromt row along the rail. These seats were monitored by this cute usher. She had, like the last 3 sections down the right field line to monitor. Wild Bill would give a couple of kids some money to go to the very end of the upper deck and sit on the front row. The usher would have to walk down our section and across the front row to tell them they couldn’t sit on the front row. As she slowly walker there, she knew what was coming. Wild Bill would lead our section in singing, “Ain’t She Sweet.” Now I play guitar in a band and that’s one of the songs we preform. Brings back good memories.
i married that girl...
no... i bet she was a cutie... i loved wild bill and loved as he got drunker, the whole section slurred their voice...
when they rumored selling the os my brothers and i sat with a sign that read, “sell the orioles, what the heck, we always sit upperdeck.”
good memories here as well. stay well my friend.
And you too. All the best.
Just think of it as before, not younger!
