I used to go to Rome, NY on business trips that would sometimes last into the weekend. One Saturday I made it to the Hall of Fame. It was great.
When I sat up in the upper deck at Memorial Stadium with Wild Bill’s group, they didn’t allow people to sit on the fromt row along the rail. These seats were monitored by this cute usher. She had, like the last 3 sections down the right field line to monitor. Wild Bill would give a couple of kids some money to go to the very end of the upper deck and sit on the front row. The usher would have to walk down our section and across the front row to tell them they couldn’t sit on the front row. As she slowly walker there, she knew what was coming. Wild Bill would lead our section in singing, “Ain’t She Sweet.” Now I play guitar in a band and that’s one of the songs we preform. Brings back good memories.
i married that girl...
