Dang, we’re in for another Run of Death, I can see. I loved his “Emily Suzanne” and “Baby Don’t Get Hooked on Me.”

North Dallas Forty. His first acting gig, and a memorable one.

Hard to be Humble....
All us ‘virile’ young(ish) men of the time were ‘part’ of that one
Not quite sure if it a good or bad thing when ‘they’ start dying younger than you...(AND they are ‘oldish’)
RIP

Is it me, or does it seem that more and more people are dying before they reach 80 years old, then say, 20 or 30 years ago?

Well, it seems like there are more octogenarians in the Senate than 20 or 30 years ago.
To: PallMal
I notice that as well, but it may be because, at 65, I am approaching that age, too..................................

If you’re talking celebrities from the 70s, it kind of makes sense, it was a time of excess, it takes a toll in the end.

I've noticed that even the famous are dying before they get to 70, or barely over 70.
I don't know, maybe I'm imagining it.
