The return address on the envelope sent to U.S President Donald Trump from Canada containing a potentially deadly poison included a postal code leading right to the Quebec apartment the RCMP searched last week, where traces of ricin were allegedly found.
The surprising inclusion of such a potentially incriminating clue suggests the sender wasnt intent on remaining anonymous for long, or masking their preparation for what a U.S. judge characterized as an assassination attempt.
The strange letter inside, seen here for the first time, is handwritten in English in all capital letters. It is stained in blotches and speckles of light and dark brown, presumably residue from the toxic, powdery ricin poison authorities say was inside.
In a photograph of the letter, obtained by National Post, the paper is being held with plastic tweezers by someone wearing latex gloves, over top of a large glass petri dish.
The initial greeting at the top of the letter is torn away, presumably from when it was opened. It looks as if the letters sides had been taped or sealed closed. Only two letters of the greeting remain: HE which could have been the start of Hello.

I have known women who could have turned out this way.
Her lawyers will use that as proof that she’s insane.
The letter was signed by Pelosi and other democrats in invisible ink.
Sounds like what Nancy Pelosi says daily.
My wife was listening to a presentation by a real detective to a murder mystery group a few years ago. Turns out the cops usually catch a break because most criminals are stupid.
A mostly peaceful letter.
Yes...it’s pretty convincing!
La Dame est folle!
(The Lady is nuts!)
Well, she is. But the legal definition is “knows right from wrong” and obviously she understands those concepts. Even if she sees them differently. Of course the trial will end up being between dueling psychiatrists. Cases like this almost always are. The shrinks will invent a diagnosis for whoever is paying the freight.
” leads right to Quebec apartment”
Not exactly to. that apartment.
I think she’s an even bigger nut case than Squeaky Fromm was. If this letter was actually written by her, I would think this is smoking gun evidence of her guilt and the fact she’s a nut case. She needs to be institutionalized for the rest of her life, she can never again walk the streets in a civilized society.
I don’t get how they found the perp so fast... this sounds like EVERY TDS patient in the world.
Leftists WANT to be caught. They want their name in lights. This is what happens when a society values exposure over decency. It's more about name recognition than living a virtuous life in the shadows.
I was on a jury for the crime of home invasion. The criminal took the stand in his own defense. His attorney asked him to give his side so he started talking and then rambling. He was asked to limit his remarks to the night in question. So he started rambling about that, “we were riding around not doing much, we robbed a couple places.........ah no wait we didn’t.”
I used to chuckle watching Live PD when Sticks would say we dont catch the smart ones.
Exactly. If you've ever watched that show called "48 Hours", where they try to solve a murder within 48 hours, you'll see this in action. They learn that "Tyvon" has been murdered. It turns out that in most cases the police have almost zero evidence, but someone tell them they heard that "Deshawn" had an argument with "Tyvon" two hours before the murder, so they pick up "Deshawn", who they are familiar with because he has a rap sheet with 20-30 prior arrests. In the interview "Deshawn" confesses and the case is solved, but if "Deshawn had not confessed, a conviction would've been very hard to come by.
I think she wanted to be found. If I read the article correctly, she was at the border, and identified herself as someone ‘wanted by the FBI’. Who’s going to say that at a checkpoint, even as a ‘joke’? Nobody I know.
Perhaps she expected to be shot dead at some point, hence her wish to move events along a little bit.
“Okay, It was me. I sent the letters. I’m here, now what?”
All those people that live that close to Magnetic North have the same problem.
Their cornbread ain’t done in the middle.
