I appreciate that this is an exhibition. Reality is that no one looking to make a long shot is going to use a handgun, but its nice to see 10mm getting some love.
I see his pistol is aimed upward. That’s quite an arc.
11 seconds of drop.
If you hold a shell and drop it, it hits ground in under a second.
He had to fire far above the target to reach it.
Considering he had to adjust for windage and other external factors as well, that was one monster shot for anyone, much less with a handgun. Wow.
Did I miss something? Not a very informative article without the size of the target. I could probably hit Mount Everest from a mile away with my eyes closed.
6030 feet in 11 seconds? Surprising. But an amazing feat!
sooner or later he will hit something. make sure you have someone around while you fire off 5k rounds trying to hit a target at range
Once is luck.
Twice is coincidence.
Three times is skill.
Wow.
I’m laughing at myself. I thought I was good with my GP 100 (Ruger) out to two hundred yds.
Wow.
5.56mm
don't let Joe pistol shooter get caught doing that wiout the proper paperwork and taxstamp
Numerator.
No denominator.
How many times did he miss?
And I thought I was cool for ringing a 20” steel target with my 7” 1911 at 200 yards off handed. .45 is nigh harmless at that range and you gotta really listen for the impact.
This guy hitting a target over 10 times that range is definitely an ego bruiser
How soon before the BATF declares it to be a “stocked Pistol” and illegal for the Great Unwashed to own?
I remember a similar stock that attached to the palm of the hand, but not the pistol, being declared illegal.
That rainbow arc would be handy at a known distance for dropping them into the far side of a stadium.
Just sayin.
Reminds me of an old book.
The 10mm. The gun that was too much for many in the FBI.
10mm... Good choice.
10mm is best millimeter. :-)
