HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- An apparent confrontation between two drivers led to two separate road rage incidents in Hillsborough County, according to deputies.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a man was driving his car in Wimauma on September 14 when 18-year-old Raymond Davis pulled up next to the man and asked, "Are you revving your engine at me?"
The man told Davis he was not, but Davis began following him with his car and then the Davis' passenger, 21-year-old Trevor Barnette, handed Davis a gun. Davis then fired two shots at the man before driving away from the scene.
Two days later, the driver saw Davis and Barnette again in Ruskin and the man tried to take a picture of the suspect car's license plate. When Davis realized what the man was trying to do, Davis stopped the car.
As the man tried to drive away from Davis, shots were fired and one of the rounds hit the man's car.
After the man told HCSO about the incidents, deputies eventually were able to identify the suspect vehicle and identified Davis as the shooter in the first incident.
Davis was later placed into custody and was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Barnette was placed in custody a few days after Davis' arrest and was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and carrying a concealed firearm.

How can you rev your engine at someone?

1. Be armed
2. Be adept with your arm or leave it home. The bad guy might take it away from you and kill. But most oddly he will probably less adept than you unless he is a professional criminal of years. Most criminals do not know much about fine fire arms.
3. Avoid areas where one needs a firearm for safety.
4. Carry a firearm always if it is leagal.
5. Know how to use a firearm properly with maximum efficiency to kill. If you need to fire , fire to kill if it is legal. If it is not legal do not take the shot. I live in Texas and my great state give me leniency if such happens on my land. In Texas as other states the law is much different if not on one property and this is good.
About a month ago an Uber Driver was caught up in an insane BLM protest on Congress Avenue in Austin. A crazy white dude from BlM pointed an AK at the driver that was just trying to make a living. The Uber Driver most wisely pulled a Glock and killed him most legally. This action warms my heart but at the same time I have much compassion for the man that killed by need. It will effect him for years. He was right and oddly the real victim. He just did not want to die and did not due to his wisdom and weapon.
Relative to Ubers rules he can not drive for them anymore or ever. Perhaps they can make him a position in security as chief? That will not happen either.
Uh-oh. "Florida man" has multiplied. I knew this would happen.
