I was talking with a Republican friend the other day, and he casually dropped into the conversation that he thought Biden was "almost as dumb as Sarah Palin."
Saturday Night Live did its job well - but I think Reagan would have been able to dispel attempts at caricature a lot more effectively than Palin did.
She’s getting uglier by the minute. Looks like a democrat pseudo female.
Just after the 2008 election my wife worked at the Alaska Airlines Board Room at Sea-Tac Airport. I would pick her up at night after the boardroom closed. One night she told me to go ahead and park the car and come in because there was somebody I might want to see. So I go in and there stands the one famous person in the world I would actually like to meet, and that was Sarah Palin. Because the place was closed we were able to all sit in a conference room and talked for about 40 minutes. What’s really funny is yeah she is as beautiful as she looks in all the reports, but more importantly she was really a smart and nice lady. I mean she was a awesome conversationalist. She both listened and shared.

It was a different SNL back then. I remember one skit where they portrayed Reagan as a simple-minded dolt - but that was only his public face. The skit portrayed Reagan as a genius (yes, as a genius) when actually running the government.

Women dont threaten the same way guys do. Maybe to cute. But she is right Lisa starts her kabuki dance and nobody is watching and caring.Lisa and Susan have been neutered.
Good griief. She’s not bragging about the house. This is a line that came from a SNL sketch that is associated with her. She is playing off this saying this is my house and if you don’t do the right thing, I can see 2022 from my house. And yes it is a threat.
Her faith didn’t falter, IMO.
She simply recognized she lacked the resources to go up against the GOP establishment. However, she did pave the way for another outsider...and the attacks on her exposed a lot of the Deep State tactics.
With the benefit of hindsight, Obama’s second term did less damage to the opposition than Romney’s 1st term would have done. Again, IMO.

I believe they bought a house there and her oldest daughter was there for some time, but I think they abandoned that approach a number of years ago.
