Yes this is real.
Yes that dress is for men.
Yes that is a dude in the picture.
Gucci's description says:
This tartan smock in delicate colors reflects the idea of fluidity explored for the Fall Winter 2020 fashion show, disrupting the toxic stereotypes that mold masculine gender identity. The contrast Peter Pan collar and smock embroidery on the front add a childhood inspired element, which ties to a recurrent theme of the collection.
Perfect: Fluidity. Toxic stereotypes. Masculine gender identity. And children thrown in there for good measure.
Here we are now, humanity. We're making Little House on the Prairie dresses for dudes and acting like it's mentally unhealthy to think there's anything wrong with that.
God help us.
What a time to be alive.

Well, nearly all rich democrats are messed up...

Gucci has to find customers who are both messed up and rich. How big could that market be? Oh, youd be surprised. Most entertainment types fit this bill.

I almost object more to the price tag for such a homely, cheap-looking garment.

"It also lets the wearer get knocked the #### out when passing a man born before 1970.
Doubt that will happen with all the hate crimes on the books. However, there are always the Hell's Angels and other 1%ers if they get confronted. That's not to say I support those outlaw bikers. Btill, I believe the time will come.

Against Churchill's pleas, FDR sold out Eastern Europe to the Russians and started the hell of the Cold War. Yes it was hell for those trapped behind the Iron Curtain. How many lost their lives in desperate attempts to escape? Thank you, FDR! </sarc>

2600 for the dress kicks the heck out of my Wranglers budget. And Lord only knows what matching sweat socks and hiking boots are gonna cost me...

One could likely find a similar rag at a thrift store for $3.

I have never seen a picture of Ann and Howard Stern together.
Coincidence? I think not.

If trousers are going out of style, why not something manly such as doublet and hose?

If they don’t sell it at Fleet Farm I don’t wear it.

Nothing new. I remember when other clothes companies tried dresses for men back in the late 1960s.

I think you’re right.
