Actor Jim Caviezel, who played Jesus in 2004s The Passion of the Christ, said writer/director Mel Gibson has written a forthcoming sequel.
Mel Gibson just sent me the third picture, the third draft. Its coming, he told Breitbart. Its called The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection. Its going to be the biggest film in world history.

Im pretty sure that the resurrection is not a sequel — I am pretty sure it was part of the original plan...(and we dont even have to look at the gospel according to Mark)
Loved the pistol in the carriage scene, and tempered vengeance, unlike most of the earlier movies.
The “real” story that inspired Dumas was pretty cool, too.

I bought it, and watched it once, several years ago, on the eve of Easter.
I can’t watch it again.
I do not think G-d wants that.
