A spokesperson for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has confirmed to WGRZ-TV that a woman suspected of sending a letter containing the poison ricin to President Donald Trump was arrested at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo.
CNN, which had first reported the story of the arrest, had only reported that the woman was arrested as she tried to enter the US from Canada at "a border crossing in New York State".
CBP Buffalo Field Office Public Affairs Liaison Aaron Bowker declined to say when the arrest occurred.
CNN cited a US law enforcement official as saying the woman was carrying a gun and arrested by US authorities, according to the law enforcement official.
US prosecutors in Washington, DC, are expected to bring charges against her.
According to a source, she could be brought before a federal judge as early as Monday.

Too bad they didn’t get to do some serious target practice on her.
Sullivan will let her off and call her a cab.
It’s amazing how they’re able to trace a mailed package to a an individual person.
Is this mailer so stupid to leave tell tale signs in the package?
Don’t tell me she left a return address!
Must have already been watching her for some reason.
Any second now I can see ANTIFA/BLM hailing her as a HERO!
How long will it take the Dems to want to bail her out of jail and build a statue in her honor
Every transaction at a post office is videotaped. Unlike years ago they can get finger prints off paper, and DNA from the glue you lick to seal the envelope. Not to mention that most leftist are idiots who broadcast their intentions on Face Book.
And carry their cell phones everywhere.
Or like Bob Beckel use a check when paying a prostitute.
how did they get her?
Seems her name is a secret.
They email me photos of my mail every day so I don’t have to bother stomping down the lane for nothing.
GITMO for this no good scum.
will she get hard time like this chick did?

Offer to test the ricin on her if she doesn't start naming names in her conspiracy. This does not sound like the work of a lone nutcase.
How stupid must someone be to believe that any letter sent to the President is simply going to end up on his desk, unopened?
Or Chinese citizen?
I imagine not only do they take pictures of all mail, but likely also videos at many mail dropoff locations.
