Date unknown. Someone on that Twitter stream said it was from the Sars outbreak but Sars was in 2002 and Fauci doesn’t look 18 years younger in that video. In my opinion, the video looks like 2020 footage.

It looks like 2020 to me as well. This was typical of the way Fauci spoke early on.
The media gets away with major contradictions about SARS CoV 2 because the disease is only 40% revealed and is at least 60% unknown, but every f***ing body wants certainty about major, important questions, and it’s not available.
The issue of asymptomatic “cases” is the key to the whole thing, and we do not even begin to understand the dimensions of that issue.
