They try to give an outward appearance of being impartial, but they have proved to be working for the corrupt establishment, and particularly biased toward the extreme left wing.
All their "reports" minimize the crimes committed, protects the key top level players in the crimes, and whitewash the very corrupt behavior.
They work to deflect and deflate the anger of the public.

I’ve now read literally 1000 of his texts. The thing that’s obvious to me is that he is a life-time bureaucratic climber and DC swamp rat. He spends all his time discussing who said what, who met with whom, what some boss said, what the Washington Post said, who participated in meetings and who didn’t. He’s like a high school cheerleader gossiping in the lunch room.
With his focus entirely on the FBI and DC bureaucratic-power hierarchy, I can’t believe he spend any time “hunting spies."
