I was possibly exposed to COVID 19 over the weekend and was surprised to see this on the CDC Website:
A couple of things: 1. Exposed means being closer than 6 feet to a KNOWN or suspected COVID carrier for at least 15 minutes. In that criteria isn't met then the CDC doesn't consider it exposure to COVID 19.
But note the note:
"Note: This is irrespective of whether the person with COVID-19 or the contact was wearing a mask or whether the contact was wearing respiratory personal protective equipment (PPE)"
In other words WEARING mask doesn't matter. If you meet that criteria you were exposed whether you were both wearing masks, or whether one was wearing a mask or whether nobody was wearing a mask.
Masks don't matter to the CDC.
BS. The Royal College of Surgeons of England did a study in 1981 for 6 months regarding masks in the OR. No masks were used and THE INFECTION RATE WENT DOWN.

You are smoking wrong. Wilfully or ignorantly, I don’t know. We’re in a battle, this is not about a virus. The physical size of the virus is far smaller than anything the masks can filter. You could wear a mask with canisters and a seal, but you still exhale them. You would be protected then, but nobody else would be. Why is everyone panicking over a virus that’s been lied extensively about and is not dangerous to most that come across it?

Not really. Masks are about demonstrating that one cares. Their effectiveness doesn’t matter as long as one can make a visual statement that they care.
Someone check my math:
If the Covid-19 viron were 1mm instead of .1 micron
I am figuring a mask would be around 3,300 feet tall but
what would the weave look like. I mean at that scale could a person
walk through it easily or would it be big enough for a large house to get through?
My thong mask(a large thin rubberband) was
a real hit with some of the guys at last nights
KofC meeting... they are so done with this jokedemic.
Not saying it was nothing but it sure ain’t something now

In other words, masks are the equivalent of the ‘90s ribbons worn by celebrities at their self-congratulating award shows.
Mask wearing while riding alone on a bicycle in the middle of NoDamnWhere!
I made my first trip to Walmart in several weeks the other day. They had a rent a cop 50’ from the door. I walked past him and he asked if I had a mask.
Yep. Kept walking
I made a show of putting it on at the door and about 50’ in the store I removed it.
I had a meeting last night with a pastor I’d never met before along with several others. We packed into the church conference room and acted like adult Americans. We even shook hands.
No sir. Smart people have done lots of research instead of relying on the bullet points the media feeds us. Masks are completely useless and truly are a symbol of compliance.
Why doesn’t the FDA approve a mask for virus protection?
Why are there no guidelines for mask use?
Why are there no biohazard bins for the mask?
I have read multiple studies that masks make things worse on many different levels. These studies make sense to me.I have kids in school being forced to wear them. I can see the negative effect first hand.

That and one other thing. Mask mandates provide a means for politicians to show that they’re doing something. Too many people think that the best way to contain the virus if for everyone to wear a mask, so politicians have to mandate masks.
The virus particles might be only 125 microns, but arent they transported on droplets, and the droplets are much bigger? So the masks would stop the droplets. The problem then presumably comes when the droplet evaporates, leaving the virus particles behind. So the answer would seem to be to wear masks, but wash them frequently and thoroughly.
None of that matters. My only point is that mask don't matter when it comes "exposure" to the virus according to the CDC. Whether or not we wear one is irrelevant and the CDC guidelines is what every public health agency is following right now. So WHY wear a mask? If we're exposed according to the criteria masks don't matter.
Yes and no. Some would be trapped. A great many others escape in an aerosol cloud. The escapees land on the masks being worn by others in the area that the aerosolized vapors are deposited on.
Now, these people’s masks are contaminated. This results in you breathing in the viruses deposited on your mask again and again and again with every inhalation.
This builds up what is called Viral Load.
It is safer for you to be exposed for the brief time the infected person breathes on you or coughed on you than to have your mask contaminated, and for that contamination to be a fraction of an inch from your mouth and nose to be inhaled repeatedly for however long you’re wearing it.
This is the conclusion of numerous studies of masks and viruses all conducted over the years with various mask types. Those studies were done long before the Wuhan Virus.
I suspect the bulk of virus particles are exhaled
with normal breathing. Outside of the OR
when used by untrained non-medical individuals
I think masks do far more harm than good.

I can’t find my link to a study of hospital staff that compared N95 masks to the folded kind you see. The folded ones are deemed less effective because they gap and admit air. Both the N95 and the folded (gap) masks performed the same (statistically insignificant difference) as the nurses both had around 24% infection rates for influenza.

No the problem is the masks do NOT effectively stop particles which are still sufficient to cause infection.
And whatever they do not stop merely helps to cause the person wearing it to be more likely to get sick. RCT studies have shown this, and it has been known for decades. Surgical, and N95 masks are ineffective against the flu/virus, and homemade masks even worse.

Would you blow your nose and then put the bandana/mask on your face? It’s essentially a similar thing.
Wearing a face diaper to collect disease causing particles on the outside and inside and then, breathing them in for however long you wear the mask. Touching the mask to rearrange it and then spreading fomite particles.
It’s a great way to help spread the disease and keep the pandemic fear going though.
That defies all logic. They are small and airborne. They also need continued contact. If anything having a mask on and trapping things by your face will increase your chances. Masks are nothing except mental conditioning. Control.
Thanks for your information.
You are willfully ignorant. Are you paid by Soros?

Or “We are in this together.” yard signs.
