Yeah I know he voted for Kavanaugh, but you never know with him. But he is up for reelection so he’s gonna behave and that’s great cuz we don’t know what Romney will do.
I have more respect for him now, he served his country for many decades - but not by getting rich in Congress!

I think Murkowski and Collins will vote for Trump’s USSC pick. They just think that being obstinate to Trump by holding back until after the election, will win them votes at home. They are trying to force Trump to wait until after the election. The problem with that strategy is that if Trump doesn’t win, then he’s a lame duck and Senators lose their spines. They will ONLY vote for Trump’s pick if he wins and only AFTER the election.
So, either there will be a vote before the election, my choice/Trump’s choice/McConnell’s choice? or there will be a vote after the election.
If there is a vote after the election, I say all bets are off and I don’t trust all of the Republicans that are now for Trump’s pick.

First- McCain is dead/gone/major influence removed, and because he has to “fly” solo, what he does matters. No cover. No protection. No big brother. For good? That might have been a stretch on my part.

I switch Liberty and Freedoms name again. Please pray for sister Freedom. She was hooked on Meth. Is doing time in rehab and other facilities. The kids had a rough growing up. Dad was an alcoholic of the worse kind. Liberty had way too much responsibility for a child. But she married well and just became a grandma Friday. Good to reconnect.
Praying she will have the desire and strength to stay clean.
