LG I've had this thread ready to post since early yesterday. I've been trying to get Finches opinion since this morning without success. I've held off posting hoping SOMEONE on twitter would tweet it. Nothing yet as I can see. But since Tracy put together this informative work on this topic I wanted to give her respect and post what I had. Thanks for the follow-up. I really appreciate it. It wasn't an easy thread to post. The visit comes amid efforts to persuade the Sudanese leadership to normalize relations with Israel , after a pro-Qatari newspaper reported over the weekend that the UAE and Saudi Arabia were pressuring Sudan to agree to normalize relations in exchange for lifting US economic sanctions . According to the report, the delegation headed by al-Burhan will also meet with a US administration team in the Emirates to discuss removing Sudan's name from the list of countries that support terrorism, American support during the transition period in Sudan and obtaining an exemption from US obligations to Sudan.

Habtur, from the UAE, will open a representative office in Israel. The financial group, based in Dubai, owns a number of companies in the hospitality, construction, education and automotive fields. It is currently negotiating with Israir Airlines on the establishment of direct commercial flights between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. In its announcement, it is stated that in the coming days it will announce more collaborations with bodies in Israel.

Last night, US President Donald Trump said there was a chance Kuwait would normalize its relations with Israel "very quickly." At a news conference after a meeting with Amir Kuwait's son at the White House, Trump said that seven or eight countries in the Middle East were interested in normalizing their ties with Israel and estimated that this would be implemented in the near future. "No one believed it was possible, but the process takes place easily - just like a jigsaw puzzle whose parts are in place," he added.
