There have been indications, whatever their worth, that the great Associate Justice Thomas wants out.
Maybe both of the ladies can get in ?
That’d be a kick in the head to the Dems/media.
Holy cow am I behind. Just at this point. Just a whole lot going on and a bit overwhelmed (what else is new). will try to catch up on this thread and latest posts and post later.
Got back to Jens condo at 3:3o and just got out of the kitchen. Prepping for two meals tomorrow at my music mans house. His 89 birthday. Invited a couple other folk but they couldn’t make it Monday .. but will try for next Sunday. So he and I will celebrate. Ill have meals for the day and a few back up meals and some other items.. (cakes, homemade banana blueberry muffins, chips, etc).. He has gone drastically downhill the past year or so. Breaks my heart. One of my best friends in many ways. Id stop by every day if he was closer and bring him a meal. He is about 50 minutes away. . My 1 & half hour daily commute to my house to do a “FEW THINGS” , feed my sweet feral and get mail takes its toll
later all. want to see if Pax is clean, Ms. Behavinn is staying out of jail, Wes is enjoying the east cost, NIKK has posted a dozen things I won’t understand(my fault not hers); our resident geeks have posted more fun memes; how many of Q’s (and our ) bad guys have been indited (HA HA HA).. we can hope.
Later/ Love hugs from NE Ohio
Only complaint Ive seen on the threads was about a shallow history. My thoughts. The complainer didnt dig very far. (Lazy????)
She is very experienced as nikk pointed out above.
She is the mother of two daughters. Her husband is a lawyer. Possibly democrats in family ( just like many here).
Because of her recent hearing (November 2019) and her easy affirmation to current position her confirmation SHOULD be easily obtained before the court come back in session the first week in October.
Cant wait for exploding heads.
When they were discussing the Atlantic’s lies about things Trump said above the military, and talked about media still spreading the lies, I wish they had mentioned that Biden is still talking about it daily, and connecting the lies to his dead son.
Even an NPR ‘reporter’ called Joe out on those two.
At least he did on Twitter, doubt if any mention will be allowed on air.

Thanks! I had read post 163 before you posted that great response. Thanks again.
Because she’s from Alaska?
Thanks watching now as I just home from work today!
He did. Biden tells lies because hardly anyone calls him out on it, probably wouldn’t even if he took questions. He tells a lie and it becomes a truth to his followers.
If the left attacks her it will just draw attention to their love of all things communist/socialist. Another attribute that Im sure is considered.
They really will have nothing else to attack. Shes a federalist/patriot who loves the nation. Stick that up your a chuckle and Nan!
ROFL.

I think she has a really good shot & the Dims will have a hard time when, not if, they try to destroy her.
Backtracking on some posts I missed!
Thanks so much for all your information.
She sounds good to me! :)
Thanks!
Let’s get it filled!
So exciting to see if the republicans fight as hard for this like our President does everyday for US!
ABOUT
WHO WE ARE
People of Praise is a charismatic Christian community. We admire the first Christians who were led by the Holy Spirit to form a community. Those early believers put their lives and their possessions in common, and there were no needy persons among them.
Jesus desires unity for all people. We live out this unity the best we can, in spite of the divisions within Christianity. We are Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Methodists, Pentecostals, Presbyterians and other denominational and nondenominational Christians. Despite our differences, we are bound together by our Christian baptism. Despite our differences, we worship together. While remaining faithful members of our own churches, we have found a way to live our daily lives together.
Our community life is characterized by deep and lasting friendships. We share our lives together often in small groups and in larger prayer meetings. We read Scripture together. We share meals together. We attend each other’s baptisms and weddings and funerals. We support each other financially and materially and spiritually. We strive to live our daily lives in our families, workplaces and cities in harmony with God and with all people.
Our community life is grounded in a lifelong promise of love and service to fellow community members. This covenant commitment, which establishes our relationships as members of the People of Praise community, is made freely and only after a period of discernment lasting several years. Our covenant is neither an oath nor a vow, but it is an important personal commitment. We teach that People of Praise members should always follow their consciences, as formed by the light of reason, and by the experience and the teachings of their churches.
Like hundreds of millions of other Christians in the Pentecostal movement, People of Praise members have experienced the blessing of baptism in the Holy Spirit and the charismatic gifts as described in the New Testament. This is a source of great joy for us and an important aspect of what God is doing in our world today.
Founded in 1971 in South Bend, Indiana, People of Praise has grown into a community of about 1,700 members. We are now in 22 cities across the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.
In 1981, in response to a call from God, we established the Trinity Schoolsprivate Christian schools in South Bend, Indiana, Falls Church, Virginia, and Eagan, Minnesota. These middle/high schools have received a total of eight Blue Ribbon awards from the U.S. Department of Education. Trinity students, the majority of whom are not members of People of Praise, learn to ask questions, engage in spirited dialogue and draw their own reasoned conclusions, while pursuing the love of learning for its own sake.
In 2002, inspired by the Holy Spirit, People of Praise members began moving into some of America’s poorest neighborhoods. Since then, we have lived closely with our neighbors and worked together to help meet pressing neighborhood needs. Our efforts include running summer camps for hundreds of children, repairing neighborhood homes, hosting prayer meetings, growing healthy food on an urban farm and establishing a private elementary school, Praise Academy at Lakeside. Longtime local residents have credited these efforts with lowering the crime rate and making the neighborhoods more beautiful and peaceful places to live..........................
Liberals may be particularly concerned over Barrett’s affiliation with a charismatic Christian group called People of Praise.
“The dogma lives loudly within you,” Feinstein, who is Jewish but attended a private Catholic high school, charged during Barrett’s confirmation hearing.
Barrett assured senators that she would rule according to the law and not her personal beliefs, and conservatives cried foul, arguing that Democratic lawmakers were improperly applying a religious test to the nominee.
How nice of you to cook up all that good stuff for your friend. You two have a great time celebrating his birthday.

The line in Biden’s speech where he falsely claimed there is no Supreme Court session between now and Election Day is not in the prepared remarks released by his campaign, appears to have been ad-libbed
